Marc Blais, a well-known entrepreneur in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, who during a business trip to West Africa, saw an opportunity to link Burkina Faso graduates to companies in his region. To do so, he partnered with Réjean Parent MBA, an experienced businessman from the region, to create the Agence de Placement et de Développement international Inc. After several visits to Africa, the partners were able to create very strong links with Burkinas Faso and opened a private recruitment office in Ouagadougou. Ms. Balguissa Ouedraogo, MBA from the University of Sherbrooke and a Canadian citizen, then joined the team to head the Ouaga 2000 office.

We are therefore very proud to be able to offer businesses a complementary solution to the labour shortage affecting our country. APDI's goal is to change lives while helping companies in the region, Quebec, Ontario and Canada.
